The Un-Ordinary Intern Experience
At Yahoo!, you will be contributing to the evolution of the Internet. That’s a pretty phenomenal thing to say for a summer job. But then again, this isn’t your typical internship company. Repeat after me: “I will not be buried in mind-numbing filing or photocopying. ” Feel better? Cool, because we want you in on the good stuff. Our interns are contributing on the frontlines: developing new technologies, negotiating deals, participating in business teams and rolling out product launches. You’ll work closely with employees in an environment where creativity is encouraged, teamwork is paramount and contributions are rewarded.
And don’t expect the cold shoulder when the internship is done. All interns are considered for full-time positions.
All work and no play makes for one dull Yahoo. That’s why our interns get in on all of the action and events from All-Hands meetings, Giants games, Music on the Green, launch parties, Meet and Mingle events and even our summer picnic. You'’ll also have full access to our amazing facilities, including a full gym, exercise classes, basketball courts, on-site dry cleaning, foosball tables, gourmet food vendors, DVD rentals and photo developing (available at most locations).
Our internship goals are to provide a unique opportunity for the top students from around the world, to build strong relationships and to have some major fun doing it. You’ll gain experience that will help you choose a career path, and get a first-hand look of the business/Internet world.
