| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. What time will the three runs start? The full marathon begins at 6.00am The half marathon begins at 6.30 am And the celebration run begins at 9.30am 2. How frequent are the water stops? There are water stops at every 2 km 3. What is the age limit for participation? You should be at least 18 years of age on 14th may 2005 to participate in the Full and the Half Marathon. You should be at least 12 years of age on 14th may 2005 to participate in the Celebration run. If you are below 18 years of age, your parent/ guardian needs to give his/ her consent and sign on your behalf. A copy of the age proof must be enclosed along with this form. 4. What is the last date for registration? Registration for the Marathon will close at 12noon on May 14, 2005 5. Is there any medical team on stand-by? There will be a medical team on stand-by. Also, there will be ambulances along the route to attend to the runners. 6. When and where is the award ceremony? The award ceremony will start at 12 noon at the Kanteerva Stadium 7. Will all participants be given certificates? Yes, all participants will be given a "participation certificate" and if they complete the run, they will be given a "certificate of completion". 8. What is the new Marathon route? The Exact Marathon Route Start at the Kanteerava Stadium, Enter Cubbon Park from Vittal Mallya Road, Exit at High Court Gate, Go past Vidhana Soudha, Left Turn at G.P.O., Raj Bhavan Road, On to Sankey Road against the flow of traffic, Go past Golf Course, B. D. A., Mekhri Circle, Bellary Road, Over the Hebbal Flyover, Take a right and go down on the Outer Ring Road towards K. R. Puram, Follow the Outer Ring Road till the K. R. Puram Flyover, Take a U-turn before the flyover at Kasturi Nagar Road and come back, Go over the Hebbal Flyover and get back on to Bellary Road, Follow the route till Raj Bhavan, Get on to Raj Bhavan Road, Take a right turn before G. P. O., Go past Vidhana Soudha till K. R. Circle, Take a left turn into Cubbon Park, Take a left turn and go past the Karnataka Badminton Association, Take a right turn and go past KSLTA, at the gate on Vittal Mallya Road take a U-turn, Go till Central Library, Take a left turn at Central Library, Go till Hudson Circle, Take a Left on to Kasturba Road, Enter the Kanteerva Stadium at the Kasturba Road Gate. The Marathon will Start & Finish at the Kanteerava Stadium. Half Marathon Start at the Kanteerava Stadium, Enter Cubbon Park from Vittal Mallya Road, Exit at High Court Gate, Go past Vidhana Soudha, Left Turn at G.P.O., Raj Bhavan Road, On to Sankey Road against the flow of traffic, Go past Golf Course, B. D. Celebration Run Start At the Kanteerava Stadium, Get On to Kasturba Road, Take a left turn into Cubbon Park at Queen's Statue, Go past the Press Club, Exit at High Court, Take a right turn till G.P.O., Take a left on to Raj Bhavan Road, Take a left turn and go till the traffic signal at Hotel Chalukya, Take a left turn and go till Legislative Home, Take a right turn at the circle to Multi-Storey Building, Go past Multi Story Building, Take a right turn to K. R. Circle, Take a left turn in to Cubbon Park, Take a left turn and go past the Karnataka Badminton Association, Take a right turn and go past KSLTA, at the gate on Vittal Mallya Road take a U-turn, Go till Central Library, Take a left turn at Central Library, Go till Hudson Circle, Take a Left on to Kasturba Road, Enter the Kanteerva Stadium at the Kasturba Road Gate.
