My family and I went for a buffet meal and the restaurant captain asked me if I was working for Yahoo! (he knew this from my room booking). I said yes and he yodeled "Yaaaahoooooou". The grin of embarrassment combined with pride on my mom's face is something I will never forget. Even a small thing becomes a challenge when you are thinking of the Yahoo! scale. Just out of college, Yahoo! was a completely new experience for me .The transition from campus to corporate has been educative, exciting and unforgettable. To learn the fact that the work you do at Yahoo! can affect 500 million users made me feel responsible and proud to be associated with Yahoo!
Memories make the heart smile and the orientation period at Yahoo! is definitely one of the most memorable days of my life. We had so much fun during the soft-skills training session! The new hires’ outing to Manipal-County was also really exciting. I enjoyed the treasure-hunt that led us to this beautiful resort and we had a whole day of fun-filled, team building activities.
